You can, of course, order out of stock and future delivery items as our computerised ordering system will make sure that these are shipped to you as soon as they come into stock. Please note that we do not charge your card for these items until we actually ship them. As a policy, if you order these items and pay by Paypal, we will issue a refund and contact you when the item becomes available and request payment at that time.

Postage Changes

We have managed to keep our ‘Postage Free’ policy going for the last 7 years or so but have been struggling recently to maintain it. The upcoming increases to 2nd Class post have made it impossible for us to maintain free or subsidised delivery.

We are sorry to tell you that, from 6th March 2012 our new postage charges will be as follows:

UK only - £2.00 per order
European Union - £3.00 per order
International - £6.00 per order.

All orders placed prior to this date will not be affected.

Please note that where we decide to send an order in multiple parcels we will only charge a single postage fee.

The good news is that as a result of charging for postage, we will be able to re-inforce the packages better.

HSM Dreadnought - an interesting change of tack

This latest Zvezda release is a really interesting topic. HSM Dreadnought - the famous battleship from WWI and the Battle of Jutland.

"HMS Dreadnought was a battleship of the British Royal Navy that revolutionised naval power. Her entry into service in 1906 represented such a marked advance in naval technology that her name came to be associated with an entire generation of battleships, the "dreadnoughts", as well as the class of ships named after her, while the generation of ships she made obsolete became known as "pre-dreadnoughts". She was the sixth ship of that name in the Royal Navy."
